Josh was drawn to Hatteras Island in 2014 and has been hooked ever since. He spent his early years there selling kite and surf gear, which granted him both extensive and exclusive knowledge of the industry. Living in Hatteras year-round has given him the opportunity to session in all conditions and grow to learn the best spots to ride, eat and have fun. He is proficient in strapless and freestyle kiting, and currently mastering the art of the foil. His passion of being a Watermen led him to the OBK team, where he is stoked to share all his passion and insight with you, so you too can follow your passions.
Dean has always been the outdoors adventurist. Growing up in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee region of California his parents were part owners of a small ski area. This is where the passion for skiing all started. In the summers he spent time on the lake teaching water skiing and sailing. But when he move to San Diego, there was a new adventure. The Pacific Ocean. Here he took his lake experience and started surfing and the kite boarding. Today he is back teaching skiing at Northstar Resort at Truckee and is excited to spend time in Avon with the OBK Team .
