Jay has been living, breathing and coaching kiteboarding on Hatteras Island since the early days. Flying Naish product since 1999, Jay has worked with and learned from the pioneers. He spends winters in "Shacks Beach", Puerto Rico, or Heavenly Ski Resort, California, to further expand his teaching knowledge.

Avid kiteboard coach in the Outer Banks and the Gorge. Chris brings countless hours of teaching in the mountains at Heavenly Ski Resort, CA, and enhances his teaching skills further on the waters of Oregon at the Columbia River Gorge. He has mastered the areas of efoiling, kite foiling, strapless surf in ocean, and of course freestyle frenzy in the flat waters. Hence his nickname on instagram "sendologist"! Welcome to the Outer Banks Kiting team!

Self-taught land/snowkiter. Moved to maui in spring 2015 and taught for 2 years with Action Sports Maui. James has been kiting for 10 years this summer and can't wait to keep progressing.

Greg comes to the Outer Banks Kiting team from Beaver Creek, CO. His customer skills and communication with guests/clients, is contagious. He owns/operates Ski Boot Fitting and also runs fishing charters on his vessel Miss Phitty. Greg specializes getting customers to and from our kite destinations on the waters of the Pamlico Sound and teaching beginners kite camps, as well as upwind riding and transitions. Rob is now teaching surfing for “OBK”… Welcome to the team! He has lived on the island for a long time and you will see him in the evenings managing and bartending at our favorite spot, Ketch-55 restaurant!
